If they suddenly vomit and start crying,
You should go to the hospital immediately.
These are symptoms of an infection.

Having a fever strongly suggests an infection.

If you or your child suddenly feel sick after coming home from outside,

You should quickly check if any of the following situations occurred:

  • Touched foreign substances left by insects
  • Came into contact with insect or bug feces or urine
  • Touched reptile skin
  • Got bitten by a red ant
  • Got bitten by an insect
  • Got stung by a bee
  • Got bitten by a flea
  • Got bitten by a tick
  • Got bitten by a bedbug
  • Got bitten by a tick in a field
  • Got pricked by metal
  • Scratched a mosquito bite, causing a wound and infection
  • Got bitten by a mosquito
  • Touched a dirty dog or cat
  • Touched a rabbit
  • Touched a rodent (such as a rat or mouse)
  • Touched a chicken → Risk of bird flu (avian influenza) infection
  • Came into contact with rat urine or feces, or stepped on it with shoes
  • Were near an infected person
  • Did not wash hands
  • Touched your face without washing your hands
  • Used a dirty toilet
  • Ate contaminated food
  • Ate spoiled food
  • Ate food that causes an allergic reaction
  • Breathed in dusty air
  • Breathed in black soil dust
  • Caught a cold
  • Touched soil or rotten wood
  • Touched a toxic plant
  • Brought harmful substances into the house on shoes, causing contamination

Even a small wound on the skin can become infected quickly, leading to blood poisoning.
In such cases, the skin may turn dark red or black.
If the infection spreads into the blood, yellow pus can form, and in severe cases, the infected area may need to be surgically removed.

Go to the hospital immediately.

With proper treatment—an injection, medication, and rest for a few days—recovery is possible.
However, if you delay going to the hospital, the situation can become dangerous before treatment starts.
